How do i Clean my clay jewlery?
If you need to clean your earrings warm water and dish soap is fine and a light scrub with a toothbrush if its really stubborn.
Stay away from harsh chemicals which could end up making them brittle. Also stay away from anything with Alcohol. Alcohol can and is used to clean the clay before it is sent to you to fix any minor errors in the product because it can actually "dissolve" the clay. If you try to use this to clean your earrings yourself you could end up damaging the earrings permanently.

What is Polymer Clay?
Polymer Clay is a very durable plastic made of polyvinyl chloride(PVC) and a plasticizer. You can usually find PVC under your sink and its are plastic hard pipe. They have to add a plasticizer to allow the PVC to become flexible and moldable. IT only becomes hard once its been baked in an oven. There is no natural clay in polymer clay, its completely man-made.
Do they break easily?
Even though clay is durable and flexible please do not bend any of the clay products you buy. Nothing is ever perfect and you could end up breaking them or causing permanent damage. Also try not to let anything pull on the earrings. One, Ouch your poor little ears. But also there could be weak spots that are impossible to know about that could cause them to break, If its a dangle earring, it would be at the hole that is drilled, or part of the design. Anytime you make holes, it is inevitable that it will make the product weaker in that one spot, no matter how good of a bake you did or how far down the hole is or how thick the clay is. It's just science
Also don't just throw them in your purse, they might break. If you absolutely have to take them off before you get home try to put them if possible in a pocket that they won't break in or wrap them in something to add some cushion to protect those beauties

how heavy are they
Polymer Clay is super lightweight, in face after adding packaging in a small 4x4x2 box it still only comes out to 2oz. Sometimes I'm not mailing earrings large enough (such as small studs) to completely register on my scale without all the goodies that go with it when I send them to you. Now because of how light they are you may be tempted to wear them non-stop, and although I would love for you to be able to wear them 24/7 it is not the best of ideas. So please don't sleep, shower or swim with your clay earrings you could accidentally damage them.
Since they are plastic are they really safe?
Absolutely, even though they are plastic they will not harm you or a loved one. Just make sure that they stay out of yours or anyone else's mouth. Polymer clay is not food safe so I wouldn't give them to a toddler or anyone else that would want to nom on them.
Can i buy your jewlery from Anywhere but etsy?
Not yet, I do plan on eventually moving on from ETSY but due to things outside my control it is easier to sell on etsy.
Why do you only make small batches or Don't sell more of you items?
Simple answer: Time, I don't have it.
Long Answer: I have to take fulltime care of a family/house this includes my MIL that has diabetes and we are in the process of moving her here from California to Texas and getting her set up with new doctors so that she can get care and building her a apartment on our property so that we can take better care of her when needed. Not to mention making time to take care of myself. I also suffer from generalized anxiety disorder.
You may be asking yourself why start a business if you have issues+not enough time. Well it makes me happy, I enjoy it, it relaxes me. I do small batches due to the time and money involved. I want to make sure that the product I put out is good enough to sell and be bought. Anything worth doing should be done well. Also I hand mix a lot of the colors, I don't always go by recipes and tend to just mix till I'm satisfied with the color. Sometimes I may have a lot of a color, others not so much. Sometimes it's scrap clay that I mixed together to make sure I don't have wasteful practices and that as much of the clay is being used. I try very hard to have mindful practices in my business and not create more waste than is necessary that includes making large batches of clay that won't be fully used/sold. And that is also why I have so many studs some of which are very small, I use the clay up!

How much waste do you try to prevent, how green is your business?
I try my best to reuse as much as I can, I reuse my order boxes either for storage/compost or if its the right size to mail out any orders I send. Where I live we don't really have a recycle area and I'm not gonna drive all the way to one and waste my gas, so I will burn the too big or not needed boxes and use the ashes in the compost which my plants love. I also use as much of my clay batches as possible, often to the point that I cannot make another earring set with my smallest stud cutter. I mix any color scraps together to make larger batches so I can use that as much as possible. I take extra icky ones to make my own house props or to use for product ideas. I buy recycled boxes and use no plastics to ship my products. Basically I use as much as possible in anyway I can, and use recycled products as much as possible.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet, I do want to do that as soon as possible but I also want to feel secure when I start doing so. So for now, until I get better at all the legal stuff for this I'm only selling in the US, Sorry.
